Operator and scope

Mike Cinkan operates Tech-Gibberish. This notice covers the Tech-Gibberish website, customer application and support inquiries. Contact info@tech-gibberish.com for privacy questions and requests.

Website visits and inquiries

Cloudflare handles website requests and related connection and security information. If you email us, we process your email address, message and information you choose to provide to respond and arrange access or support. The public marketing pages do not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts or cookies set by our website code.

Information we process

We store account and company details, email addresses, roles, report signature details, saved field notes and reports, saved troubleshooting conversations and related equipment information. We also process login/session records, service activity, AI usage counts, policy agreements and billing identifiers. Audio and photos you submit are sent to providers when needed for transcription or image analysis. Saved text may contain information derived from those inputs. The app's usage measurement does not intentionally record raw AI prompts, audio or photos.

Paddle is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for Tech-Gibberish subscriptions. At checkout, Paddle collects and processes purchaser, payment, billing and transaction information, including the information needed to process payments, calculate transaction taxes, prevent fraud and provide billing support. Paid checkout is not yet available. The app stores payment/subscription identifiers, status and related billing events; it does not store full payment card numbers. Your browser can retain drafts, preferences and downloaded exports. Copies you or your company download are under your control.

Why we use information

We use relevant information to operate the service, generate and save work, authenticate users, administer company access, process billing, provide support, prevent misuse, comply with applicable duties and improve product quality. Authorized personnel may review relevant content to investigate a support issue, assess quality or correct a failure. We limit access to what is needed and minimize identifying details in evaluation examples. This does not make all examples anonymous.

We do not sell personal information or customer report content. We do not use your job content for unrelated advertising or to build a general-purpose AI training dataset. We do not treat a broad “product improvement” statement as permission for unrestricted reuse. Optional marketing would require a separate choice.

Who can access information

Technicians can access their own work. Company administrators can manage company users and access/export company work. The operator and authorized support personnel may access information when needed for support, security, disclosed quality review or legal responsibilities. Information may also be disclosed to comply with valid legal process or protect rights, or as part of a business transfer with applicable safeguards and notice.

Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage, sign-in/security and transactional email infrastructure. OpenAI processes inputs to generate text, transcribe audio or analyze images. Paddle handles purchaser, payment, subscription, transaction-tax, fraud-prevention and billing-support information as merchant of record under its own privacy notice. We share the account and subscription information needed to arrange your purchase with Paddle and receive billing identifiers, subscription status and transaction updates needed to provide access, manage subscriptions and handle support. These providers process information necessary for those functions and may keep their own security, legal or operational records. Processing may occur in the United States and other locations where providers operate. See Cloudflare, OpenAI API data controls and Paddle for their information.

Our text-generation requests ask OpenAI not to store a reusable response using its response-storage setting. This is not a promise of zero provider retention. OpenAI describes API model training as off by default unless a customer opts in. We do not enable optional content sharing for unrelated training as part of this service.

Retention and deletion

Deletion jobs run periodically and may process large accounts in batches. Holds and applicable earlier privacy-right deadlines are handled separately from the ordinary 90-day schedule. Closed accounts cannot be reopened through the normal app controls.

Your choices and requests

You can update signature details in Account and save or export your work before closure. Company administrators can export company reports and conversations and close the account. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or other rights that apply where you live. We verify identity and, for company data, appropriate authority. We respond within applicable legal deadlines; the default closure schedule does not replace those deadlines. We may retain information required for a lawful exception and explain relevant limits. We do not charge or discriminate merely because someone exercises a legally protected privacy right.

Security and changes

We use access controls, company separation, encrypted connections and restricted administrative access. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your login email and devices, review company access and contact us promptly about suspected misuse. The service is for adults aged 18 and older. We will update this notice when practices change and provide additional notice or choices where required.
