Website measurement
Updated October 12, 2026. This supplements our Privacy Notice.
Optional website tracking
If you choose Allow, we use random identifiers to measure visits, trial-button clicks and the campaign or social post that brought you here. A consent identifier connects the measured sessions created under that choice, including a new session after 30 minutes of inactivity or a new campaign. It is shared only between this website and our customer portal and expires after at most 30 days. A direct return may retain the earlier source within that period. Another explicit Allow is required after it expires. We do not identify you across unrelated websites.
We use a saved Allow or No thanks choice for up to 180 days. The browser storage entry may remain until it is replaced or cleared. You can change your choice using Measurement choices on the website. Optional collection stays off when required browser storage or cookies are unavailable, when choices disagree, or when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.
No thanks stops new optional requests from the updated website and sets a shared decline marker so new account attribution is blocked. We also request server cleanup of the available consent identifier, its measured sessions and linked campaign attribution. Failed cleanup is retried while the page is open and when you return with the saved cleanup information. Until the server confirms success, the choices panel says cleanup is pending. An offline or blocked browser cannot guarantee immediate server deletion; reconnect or contact us if cleanup cannot finish. Cleanup does not remove account, report, billing or financial records, or account milestones. The site, trial and checkout remain available when you decline.
Older measurement: before this update, rotated identifiers were not connected. For those records we can clear only the identifier your browser still presents and source information still directly linked to it. We cannot reconstruct missing older links and do not claim that declining removes all past attribution. Contact us for a separately verified privacy request.
Account activity
The service already records account creation, successful report generation and billing. We use minimal account identifiers and first-use/payment milestones to understand whether the product is useful. If optional measurement is allowed, we connect the recorded source to a newly created account. Without it, account milestones can still be counted, with the source listed as unknown.
Information and access
Measurement does not store report notes, report text, audio, photos, names, email addresses, full URLs, IP addresses, browser fingerprints or payment card details. Source labels and random identifiers are linked to the account only as described above. Only the operator can open the measurement dashboard. Cloudflare hosts these records. We do not send them to advertising networks.
Retention and requests
Website session and consent-state records use a 90-day cleanup window, processed by periodic jobs. A revoked consent record may remain within that window to reject delayed requests; its linked session and campaign attribution are cleared when withdrawal succeeds. Minimal account conversion records, including the scoped reference needed to clear linked attribution after a delayed withdrawal, remain while the account is open and are removed with the account's scheduled data purge after closure. Operational and financial records follow the separate retention rules in our Privacy Notice. Contact info@tech-gibberish.com for access, deletion or other privacy requests.
